Orlando City Falls to LA Galaxy

City’s Kevin Molino made it a 1-0 lead on a 20th minute goal by rebounding a deflected Cyle Larin strike. It was his first game back for Orlando since representing Trinidad and Tobago in a 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier.

The lead was short-lived after LA standout Giovani dos Santos sparked a three-goal run, notching himself a 35th minute goal along with penalty kick that came in the 45th minute to go into the half leading Orlando City 3-1.

Dos Santos continued to shine with an assist in the 70th minute to Robbie Keane, creating a 4-1 lead against the struggling City squad.

Brek Shea came off the bench, scoring a 90th minute goal that would simply serve as consolation.

Orlando City SC will host Columbus Crew SC at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 17th at Camping World Stadium.
